sort of been watching this show, though i did miss quite a few episodes of it too... haha

anyway, today was the revival round, and here i wld like to say,



維建 got in! i like his performance, so i think he deserve it. he got a good voice, and his stage performance is excellent too! but i wld say Leon did well too. i simply love their duet song yesterday. cool!


however, i kinda support Chanel. but she din eventually make it thru to the semi-final. dunnoe. i find her performance tonite was good, and her voice suited that song, but the judges think otherwise. *shrugs*

Kelly was the one who got in in the end. she scored 40.5 lah! highest so far in the competition. cool! and i do agree she did very well. let's see if she continues the hardwork. (oh, i love their duets too!)



俐君totally (okay, maybe not totally) broke down during her performace. din do as well as what i wld expected her to do. i din really watch the preliminary rounds, but i did get to see her during one of them. and she totally swept me away. was a bit disappointed that she get eliminated anyway.

looking forward for the semi and finals. i support 維建.


postnote: i realised the famous blogger, xiaxue, got her blog hacked. she lost everything... jiat lat siah. i do read her blog for entertainment at times... when i m bored though. some of her posts are pretty interesting, though bitchy. si bei bitchy actually.

kaoz!

sianz... somehow i think i will graduate with more than 160MCs.... not enuff time and breadth/UEM for me to take up to french 4...

left 4 sems more to go only. and i've completed 87 MCs. left 73 MCs to be cleared. Out of the 73, i only have 3 breadths and 3 UEMs left. 1 UEM goes to my VIP. this sem have to clear 2 breadths if i am going to overload. next sem, dun have core modules. so itz either i clear a lot of breadths/UEMs in that sem, or i have to clear most of my ISE electives in that sem. no matter how i plan, it is going to be difficult.

shld have taken language module earlier.... if i took it last sem, things will be much much easier.

commencement

been attending two commencements in a row, wednesday and thursday. both in the morning... make me have to wake up early in the morning... but 9++, 10am actually not very early too lah

xieli and jennifer graduate loh! come to think of it, itz been many years since i noe them liaoz. a wonder, i wld say, that we are still in contact. jc 1 og mates leh! not even 1st 3 mths classmates. i wonder how come we can "clique" so well. there were more than 10 of us at first, then slowly slowly, one by one starts to disappear. either end of orientation then never contact liaoz, or after the 1st 3 mths, some left for another jc. those who stayed in nyjc, oso slowly disappear.

haha... but the 4 of us are still together. puzzled...

but i have to admit. there are times when i din really put much effort in maintaining the links. either i was too busy then, or i feel really fucked up because of army (there was a period during army i felt really fucked up and unhappy). in fact, i think i've never organised a single outing among the 4 of us. (actually, i doubt jianwei organised any too, haha). but i think i am really thankful to have known them, and they still continued to count me in during outings, or simply as buddies.

though tio pang seh in both days (wed for xieli's commencement, jianwei come for like....30 mins? and jenn got interview and din appear. thurs for jenn, both xieli and jianwei blardee hell pang seh. kanna sai....), i m still mighty glad to see both of them in their graduation gown/robe. for now, they will be working and earn big money, and move on to another chapter of their lives. for me, i still have to mug for another 2 fucking more years. na hiay....... nmd. i will be only one that gets first class. bleah!

hate auditions

yes, i still hate them even though i've been in choir for such a long time.... every time i sing in an audition, even if itz juz a simple scaling exercise, i still feel super duper uncomfortable. sibei jiat lat....

and my fucking cough is still not recovered.... blardee... shld i go see a doctor???

farking hell

time of the year again

modules selection... time to plan like hell, and later discover u get outbidded by bastards, and gotta replan everything again....

how fortunate i m in engineering... so most of my modules are pretty decided and confirmed... and thus all my core modules will be given with a confirmed timetable...

this sem, i will be taking up 3 ISE core modules, 1 university requirement (engineering professionalism... confirm need to read and write kind... sick), and 2 extra modules. probably breadth modules... since there isn't any ISE elective modules i can choose to take. i guess those i have to wait till next sem bah...

being an engineering student, it gets really difficult to decide what modules to take. i would like to take up some business modules, like "Legal Environment for Business", and "Financial Accounting".... but i hate business marking schemes. class participation takes quite a high percentage, and i hate to talk. on top of that, projects. it juz make it worse for me. not that i dun like projects, but projects are really time-consuming and disrupting... still gotta find project mates somemore.

wld like to take languages too. am looking out for "French I". dunnoe got enuff bid points to vie for that or not. it really a good idea to take up language classes in nus, cos itz free, and u will try to learn them well cos it affects ur grades. at least that applies for me. and most importantly, i think nus give quality language classes. much better than those outside. so, i m pretty determined to take up some language classes in nus liaoz.

am thinking of taking up econ modules too. was at one time thinking of minoring in economics too. although i m an engineer, i still have some flair in econs. probably cos econs is pretty interesting... at least i like the topics very much when i was in jc. it helps me understand how the world works a little bit more. able to distinguish certain policy and models, and i was pretty proficient in them. but that was in the past... if i m really going to take up econs, itz at best i read up my jc notes and understand them one more time. from scratch too.

end of ICT!!

kanni nah hiayh... finally ICT ended liaoz. 2 weeks of my holidays gone juz like that... blardee SAF. last day to book out oso give us such a super long talk....

anyway, this ICT i oso siam quite a few things... primarily cos i managed to get off for friday, 24 june, (1600-2359) for concert, and wednesday, 29 june, (1300-2359) for brother's wedding.

things that are more special for this in camp:-

1) i managed to take 2 offs, and siam basic main range (aka live firing) and thus all the sai gang. i oso siam the platoon dismounted outfield, which is supposedly more siong than the one i partake together with the rest of the platoon the day before. heng siah.... siammed 2 big shits

2) brian ong yuyi became my PS, and he is fucking kao bei kao bu lah!!

3) first time i had ice cream at outfield. RSM of my battalion damn good lobang... managed to stun ice cream when we were having the nite outside in the field

4) first time i ran so slow for my IPPT. although anyhow run, and without motivation, but 11:15 is a timing that i really cannot forgive myself. so, i will continue to run, even though ICT has ended.

5) the smokers are getting more and more "bo gah lan". smoke all the way in the bunk, resulting my lousy condition to sing on 24th. and i m still coughing now... at one time i tot my mild bronchitis is back to haunt me (after my BMT in army)

6) see so many stupid video clips in bunk mates handphones, and resulting me super "gian" to get one myself soon too. hahahahaa!!!

7) and me "in action" with cewei!!! must ask gan to send me that video that he took when i get a new handphone for myself.

8) TTT actually told me he wants to come back to be my section 2IC nearing the end of ICT.
