okay... parents gave the green light

have talked to my parents this morning abt the SEP. they have given me the green light. now the option juz lie in my own decision.

okay, many pple have msned or left comments in my blog regarding the issue of SEP. thanks to all of ya!

i do have my share of concerns.

one big one is money. i guess i do not need to elaborate further.

second, is parents. yes, they have given me the consent. but, judging by me, i guess they probably wld also still want me to stay around. i mean, they are 63 this year, and i m the youngest kid. naturally, they wld want to see me around most of the time (although i m always in school instead of at home... but hey! at least i m in singapore)

third, is adaptability. although i can adjust to changes, i dun really welcome them actually. not exactly a pro-western kia too.

fourth, i dunnoe if itz worth it after all. spend a lot of money, to go and play. hahah....

fifth, etc.

but well, i do still wld like to go experience. and i oso do know the benefits.

anyway, watched ivan's performance at UCC today. not bad, quite entertaining. am staying over at his room tonight too... tml still have to do projects.

offered Penn State SEP option

in the middle of class today, i received a call from Evelyn from ISE department.

"Hi, Wenquan. Would you like to go for SEP?"

i was like, "Huh!?"

okay, briefly put, there is an additional place for Penn State SEP. So, they actually called me up to asked if I would like to take it up.

Friends around me are telling me that this is a rare chance, and I should go for it. Yah, i do agree itz really an excellent opportunity to leave Singapore, and all the more so since there is an established ISE department over at Penn State. On top of that, people who want to go are not even given a chance to do so. Definitely, itz going to be an exciting experience.

But, I've already settled to the fact that I would stay in Singapore. Now, suddenly this option is opened to me, I felt rather.... disturbed.... no, not the correct word, but i dunnoe how to describe it adequately.

I have my other concerns too... hmmmm.... shld i take it up or shld i not???

shld i face it? or be a turtle? hahaha....

haiiz.... i m not facing the problem direct... and is escaping from it...

cannot lar... have to face it, else itz affecting other part of my life and work...

juz to record down, i've had a probability quiz on the eve of CNY. blardee... lecturer gives nice present siah... super troublesome quiz. not exactly difficult, juz one question. but we are given only 10 mins to do. 10 mins seems adequete... but this question need to press calculator until siaoz! wellz, clear cut results in the end... FAIL! (#^&*@%&#@%*#...)

THEN!!! when i go home early on the eve, i saw a dead bird festered with flies....

hmmm... some kinda omen?

anyway, went to watch Constantine yesterday with jiayin, mingfa, tim and dq. not a bad show! quite cool. simply love the last scene siah, with john constantine pointing his blardee middle finger to satan. best.... ge attitude! see if i can find this classic screenshot siahz....

cool music~~

went to support yanhong and dai da on their short performance at esplanade. hey! cool music~~ overall i think it was better in the second half, than in the first. the music harmonises better in the second half, and the feelings is more explicit bah. generally there's better gel-ling of sound, be it among the instruments, or with the piano.

and i finally get to hear how dai da play his er hu. been wanting to listen ever since ivan told me abt dai da. and oh my, i was impressed! love his solo in "Music of the Night". shiok! and i like the tango piece too.

studies is getting suffocating... nmd... i will survive.

probably a bit buay hiao bai, but my cap is good enuff to survive liaoz. trying hard not to be bothered...

next time put the photo me and dai da took together today when i get it from it.
